What to include for mounting & installations
Putting up shelves, curtain rails, mirrors, hooks, picture frames and suitable TV brackets where the wall and fixings can safely support them.
For shelves and TV mounts in Edenvale apartments, check building permissions and describe the wall type. The safest fixing method depends on the substrate, not just the bracket.
Describe what you want mounted, its size and approximate weight, the mounting height and the wall type. Tell us if you own the bracket, anchors and fixings already.
- Wall shelves and storage brackets
- Curtain rails and blinds brackets
- Mirrors, picture frames and hooks
- TV bracket mounting without electrical rewiring
A more useful Edenvale quote brief
If you live in a flat or estate, note body-corporate restrictions and the hours when contractors may work. For mounting jobs, say whether walls are concrete, brick or drywall if known.
- Address area: Edenvale; mention the exact suburb (for example Dowerglen, Edenglen)
- Job description: What needs mounting, how heavy is it and what is the wall made from?
- Property and access: Are there body-corporate rules for the work?
- Materials: list any parts, brackets or fittings already purchased
- Timing: state your ideal dates and whether a site assessment is possible
When this needs a different trade
Unsafe walls, asbestos disturbance, wiring work and installations requiring specialist certification must be referred for proper assessment. No hidden-cable electrical installation is implied.
QuoteRequest can review the description and check whether a relevant provider can assess it; we do not promise that any named supplier serves every neighbourhood.
Common questions
Can a TV be mounted on any wall?
Not necessarily. The wall structure, bracket rating, TV weight and fixing method must be checked before installation.
Can I request shelves, rails and mounting in Edenvale without an exact quote?
Yes. Explain what you know and attach photographs in the WhatsApp conversation. A supplier can ask for more details or a site inspection before quoting.
Is availability confirmed when I send the form?
No. This is an enquiry. Availability, pricing and appointments are only confirmed by an actual supplier.
